Kenya

Pray for Caleb Gatuku

Our assistant field director in Kenya is John Gatuku, and his 1.5 year old son was just admitted to the hospital with a high fever. Please pray for God's healing and for the stress on the family.

Bob Hamilton heads to Kenya

Our good friend and coworker Bob Hamilton is preparing for his next trip to Kenya from September 29th through October 25th. Bob will be focusing on training a group of pastors who have demonstrated both willingness and giftedness in training others. They desire to extend the seminar ministry within Kenya to build up the church throughout the country. Please pray for their growth in teaching capability and for their courage as they go into more difficult areas for gospel ministry.

We are excited about the long-term impact that we believe these efforts will have.

"And the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable people who will also be qualified to teach others." 2 Timothy 2:2

If you would like to support the training of these pastors and future pastor's conferences directly, you can always designate your gifts specifically towards "Pastoral Training in Kenya"!

After much searching for the right deals and dates that would work with Melissa's schedule as an attorney with Trinity Legal Clinic, tickets are purchased and plans are being made for a trip.

Riamugaa and Kiangwaci Projects Near Completion!

We have multiple projects that are nearing completion and we hope to hold a celebration for the community and share the gospel soon!

Riamugaa Project now has toilets and sinks installed - just waiting for final paint job!

Nicaragua

Kevin Continues Seminary Training

Kevin Aguilar, our field director in Nicaragua, continues to benefit from the monthly seminary training @ HTI (Henderson Training Institute) sponsored by Henderson Hills Baptist Church, our "home" church here in Oklahoma. This month the teacher is from Puerto Rico and the topic was "Preaching Biblical Messages." In addition, they did more local street evangelism and preaching.

CrossWay TecNica Class Nears Completion

Our students have completed the latest round of courses and we are waiting for INATEC, the ministry of education, to provide the official certificates so we can have a gradutation party. Pictures coming soon!
